Yahoo is not using valid PNG files in Yahoo Messenger for buddy icons.
I was amazed to discover that buddy icons (png files) from Yahoo Messenger are not passing PNG tests and to render bad in mod programs including in Windows XP, Microsoft Paint, and others. In fact the only place where I was able to see the files well was Pidgin messenger (GTK) – a multi-network messenger I would really recommend to anyone. I’ve spent 3 days looking for o solution that would let me build projects on a network drive mapped from Mac OS X. The project I was working on has requires over 38Gb of space and using a network drive it’s faster that the laptop harddrive that has encryption on it. Mi-am luat și eu iPhone 3G din prima zi, asta pentru că-mi doream un telefon cu o bună integrare a mesageriei, contactelor și calendarului cu Outlook-ul.
Articolul este bazat pe o verisiune anterioară pe care am reactualizat-o, acum cu impresia a încă 5 luni de utilizare. Se referă la firmware-ul curent (2.2.1).
Pe scurt nu voi ascunde faptul că sunt un pic dezamăgit și că speram să fi o platformă și nu doar un gadget.
Acum sunt sigur că iPhone 3G nu este un telefon din clasa business ci din cea fashion.
